Regular fabrics are busy selling, and differentiated "hot selling" products are also increasing in price

2024-03-17

It has already arrived in April, and the peak season of the textile market continues, with multiple best-selling fabric products appearing, and some popular products even rising in price.

Regular fabrics are hot selling

In the recent market, there have been large trucks transporting raw fabrics one after another, each representing shipments of tens of thousands or even two to three hundred thousand meters. With such a large shipment volume, weaving enterprises are naturally very busy.

Wang is always the head of a fabric enterprise, responsible for the production and sales of 200 water jet looms, mainly engaged in the production and sales of conventional fabrics. Mr. Wang said, "We mainly do foreign trade business in Middle Eastern countries. Since December last year, there have been more orders, mainly for high elastic spring Asian textiles. The number of orders placed by our old customers this year has significantly increased compared to the same period last year, with an increase of about 20%."

Mr. Li, the head of a textile enterprise that mainly produces denim fabric, said, "Recently, the business of denim fabric has been very good. Our weaving machine operating rate has reached 100%, and we still need to work overtime to complete the orders we have. The products we sell now are mainly used for punching jackets, and the demand for outdoor products such as punching jackets has grown very rapidly in the past two years."

High elastic spring Asian spinning and nylon spinning, as two typical representatives of conventional fabrics, performed very well after the Spring Festival. In addition to the hot sales of conventional fabrics, differentiated fabrics have also been sought after by the market.

Differentiated fabrics are popular

In recent years, with the increasing popularity of environmental protection concepts, the development of green recycled fabrics has been very rapid, especially for textiles sold to European and American countries, many of which have environmental requirements.

Mr. Wu, the head of a company that produces recycled down jacket fabrics, said, "Our main orders currently are 380T and 400T recycled nylon spun fabrics, which are exported to Vietnam and then processed into clothing in Vietnam before being exported to Europe. In recent years, the environmental protection requirements in the European market have been increasing, especially for some large brands, which require the use of recycled fabrics. The market in this area is expanding rapidly."

The popularity of recycled fabrics has been ongoing for several years, and it is not surprising that this year's popularity has continued. When it comes to the "traffic king" in the fabric market this year, it must be the Chinese style jacquard. Although the sales of Chinese style fabrics have been increasing in the past few years, the real outbreak will not occur until after this year's Spring Festival. Hanfu, represented by horse faced skirts, has gradually become a common attire for people to go shopping and play, and has also driven the popularity of Chinese style jacquard fabrics.

Manager Li, a business manager of a jet weaving company, said, "We were already producing products with Chinese style jacquard patterns a few years ago. Although they sold well, it was the first time that our business has been as good as after this year's Spring Festival. Our customers have been placing orders one after another, and we can't even make over 200 jet looms because the market is too hot. The price of Chinese style jacquard fabrics has increased by 10-15% since the beginning of the year, but they are still in short supply."

Cultivate internal skills and constantly explore

The hot market is not easy to come by, and while textile workers are busy shipping, they are also focusing on cultivating their internal skills.

Mr. Wu, who produces recycled down jacket fabrics, said, "The market for recycled fabrics is becoming increasingly broad. In order to enhance competitiveness, we not only continuously strive in process research and product development, but also strive to expand the market, actively participate in exhibitions, and constantly seek new customers."

Manager Li, the business manager of the Jet Weaving Factory, said, "This year we have stood at the forefront and achieved good results. However, after seeing the popularity of the Chinese style jacquard, many peers will inevitably enter this industry, and competition will intensify in the future. Therefore, we will choose to continuously deepen our cultivation in this market, increase investment in fabric development, and achieve the goal of having what we have and being superior to what we have."

It is precisely because of the continuous development and progress of textile enterprises that they can maintain their competitiveness in the market for a long time, and the entire textile industry can thrive. Consumers can also buy increasingly excellent products at appropriate prices.
